The island of Brac: Croatia part 4

May 30, 2017
one day in brac, croatia

Onto Brac!

The last and final island of our Croatia trip was Brac (pronounced “Brach”). A tiny island only about 20 minutes from Hvar by ferry, Brac is home of one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe: Zlatni Rat. It was a bit chilly during our beach day so I stayed outside of the water (and Joe jumped in), but the beach was gorgeous just the same.

This tiny island was so charming because it houses adorable restaurants, a beautiful coastline view, and tiny streets that allow you to walk everywhere within 20 minutes. While we were only on the island for 1 night, we were able to spend time at the beach, walk to lunch, hang out at our hotel pool, walk to dinner, and then explore some more the next morning.

Of everything that I packed for this 12-day trip, this Free People knit dress was my fav! It’s the perfect summer, travel dress for a couple reasons: it doesn’t wrinkle, you can wear it as a swim cover-up or as a dress (it comes with a full slip), it’s warm because it’s a knit but doesn’t trap heat, AND it’s a perfect neutral color to match anything you pair with it! I wore this dress at the beach, during the day with strappy sandals, and with a leather jacket at night…seriously the most versatile dress you’ll ever own (AND it’s on sale for under $100!)

Since we were in Brac during ‘slow season’, we got a killer rate at our hotel: Bluesun Hotel Elaphusa. There are 3 Bluesun hotels right in the same area that offer free breakfast (a huuuuuge buffet with amazing food), a full spa, pool with a DJ, and right against the water with gorgeous views. Check out their site here.

This was our last stop before heading out of Croatia, so stay tuned for our time in Greece! First stop: Athens 🙂

Cheers,

Hannah
