As the weather starts to warm up, I find myself reaching for breezy, comfy and easy-to-wear dresses. I also love breaking out bold prints as we transition into Spring and shortly into summer, so this week we’ll be looking at 3 of my favorite ways to wear STRIPES.

When I don’t have anything planned for the morning, I usually run my errands in workout clothes (to convince myself to go to the gym) or stretchy dresses. Often your “errands” clothes borderline pajamas and old lady frumpy, but you don’t need to sacrifice style for comfort! This SHABBY APPLE dress is everything you could ever want in a maxi dress: insanely comfortable, versatile for casual wear or dressed up, and figure flattering.  This is usually my go-to outfit after hitting the gym (baggy enough so your lotion doesn’t stick to your dress!) but still super cute with a jean jacket over for happy hour later in the day!

A new style I’ve been pining over online has been platform espadrilles…you too?? These TORY BURCH puppies were a rare find at Nordstrom Rack, but there have been some stunning styles from SOLUDOS and SUPERGAUSA right now. These are the perfect variation on your standard tennis shoe that will give you some extra height and extra sophistication. I like to wear mine with dresses (like I am here) but also with jeans and a linen top. Basically, YOU NEED A PAIR!

On this outing, Joe and I walked down to the street to V Marketplace and grabbed a drink at Bottega (one of our favorites in Yountville). We grabbed Chopin martinis and their calamari (one of the best with a squid ink dipping sauce). Be sure to ask for bread with your meal as they have THE BEST parmesan/garlic spread!

Cute! Love your espadrilles 😀 I’ve been meaning to get back up to Napa soon when the weather is nicer.
