Revik has launched!

I’m SO excited to help announce that the long awaited REVIK Wine Company has officially launched. If you follow me on Instagram, you know one of our closest friends – husband and wife Phil and Danni – have been working on a special wine brand called Revik. We’ve gotten to watch this brand over the last year evolve, from seeing drafts of their label to tasting the first few bottles of their chardonnay.

Let me dive a little deeper into their story…

^These lovely people are Phil Holbrook and Danni Hill. Though recently married, Phil and Danni have been together since their Napa middle school days! Both being Napa natives, we’ve learned so much about the valley from them as their lives have been surrounded by wine culture since day one. Phil’s grandmother is Margrit Mondavi, renowned in the valley for her contribution to the wine, art, and music culture. Phil also has countless years of winemaking under his belt working everywhere from Scribe Winery in Sonoma to Robert Mondavi Winery in Oakville. With both Phil and Danni’s knowledge and passion for wine, they set out to create a wine brand of their own.

So what does ‘REVIK‘ mean? REVIK is a combination of two words, REVEL; to celebrate, dance and drink with friends and VIK; time and place. These wines are not only a reflection of their site, but a celebration of the place they are derived from, and the very first moment the winemaking process starts; the time of harvest. The name could not be more perfect as it embodies the feeling and sentiment they want their wine to convey…Phil and Danni’s vision for this brand is to create a wine that brings friends and family together, to celebrate and be present in that moment of time.

This vision is also echoed in the label. This is a water color of a cherry blossom painted by Phil’s late grandmother, Margrit. I adore this label and love that her artwork will live on in this wine, and get to be shared and enjoyed. Their Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay shows the original colors and water color details, while their Cabernet Sauvignon uses the silhouette in a pretty gold, foil.

How do you get your hands on some Revik? Head on over to their website and click on ‘Our Wines‘ to add either their 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon, 2016 Sauvignon Blanc, or 2016 Chardonnay to your cart (or bundle and save some $).

Congratulations to Phil, Danni and their partners Wil and Lauren on the launch!

Feel free to message me with any questions about this brand or which wine would make the best gift!
