It’s rare that we get to experience Napa from a visitor’s point of view, so when Joe and I had the opportunity to have a little staycation at the White House Inn, we jumped on it. And it was amazing! This could be the cutest inn I’ve ever see and you’ll see why…upon walking in, you first notice the most adorable polka dot carped and crown moulding. This building takes you back to the early days of Napa’s existence before it became the popular tourist destination it is today.

From the green velvet chairs to the leather tassel on your keys, this inn’s attention to detail is what makes it so unique. white house (3 of 82) white house (10 of 82) white house (12 of 82) white house (13 of 82) white house (20 of 82) white house (22 of 82) white house (23 of 82)

Nothing is better than jumping into a freshly made bed, right?? Our bedroom had a gorgeous velvet headboard and chic pillows that match the theme of the room…and a large screen tv that had the Warrior’s basketball game playing on it all night!

white house (29 of 82)Apart from the chic decor and irresistible charm of this inn, it’s location is one of the best parts! Located downtown Napa, it’s about a 5 minute walk to the heart of downtown. Apart from the big, expensive hotels, there aren’t many options for accommodations that are walking distance from Napa’s best restaurants and shopping. Joe and I checked in, checked out the property, and then walked to grab dinner at Morimoto (less than a mile away!). Being in wine country, there is often a lot of drinking involved (duh) so you need to be extra careful driving and staying somewhere walking distance is a must! white house (32 of 82) white house (38 of 82)

I still can’t get over how cute this polka dot carpet is! white house (48 of 82)white house (44 of 82)white house (51 of 82)

At the front of the inn is a gorgeous lawn terrace that has tables and chairs perfect to enjoy a glass of wine at. It’s nestled into a cute Napa suburb that’s incredible quiet and so cute!

(^ my newest purchase and obsession: this C/MEO skirt I found on sale on BNKR. It’s made of a thick but stretchable knit fabric that hugs your body perfectly and has a chic peplum at the bottom. Not only is it incredibly versatile, but it’s 50% off right now!!

One of our favorite parts of this inn was it’s outdoor seating. As the weather in Napa has been perfect lately, one of the best things to do is grab your favorite bottle of wine or bubbles and relax outside. There are tables and chairs in the front of the inn, on this terrace overlooking the pool, by the fire pit in the back, and all around the pool.white house (72 of 82)white house (67 of 82) white house (65 of 82) white house (68 of 82)

(I’ve been searching for the perfect high waisted pants and/or skirt to wear with all of my crop tops, and I finally found it! These culottes (yes they’re pants!) are comfortable, versatile, and have such great movement. AND they’re on sale! This pool area was so cute! You can hang out on a lounge chair or nestle up next to the fire pit at night.white house (75 of 82) white house (78 of 82) white house (80 of 82)
Since Napa is one of the most popular tourist destinations, I constantly get asked for recommendations on wineries, restaurants, and accommodations. Since we live here, we never get to experience inns and hotels on a first hand basis so we were ecstatic for this staycation at the White House Inn! I was blown away by our experience here and would much rather experience Napa like this than at a large hotel.

For any further questions about the White House Inn, Napa in general, or outfits seen here, shoot me a note!

Cheers,

Hannah
