It’s officially brunch season!
With the weather being so nice lately, we find ourselves out and about in Yountville all the time. And nothing sounds better to me than lazily getting up on the weekend, and stumbling down the street to grab some brunch. Luckily, since we live in this charming little town called Yountville, we have some of the best chefs and restaurants ever. Our go-to breakfast spot is Lucy, the restaurant that is inside of the hotel Bardessono located one street parallel to Yountville’s main street…I’ll explain why we love it here so much!

While this luxury hotel is absolutely stunning, with a modern/chic style decor, it’s also one of the most green hotels in the country! What I love most about Bardessono is it’s relaxing vibe and outdoor ambiance; with a beautiful mix of shallow pools and fire pits, they’ve set their patio up to be comfortable, visually stunning, and the perfect place to escape.
While we didn’t bring the pups along this time (you can find my post with puppies here), Bardessono is super dog friendly! We’re constantly walking the pups over here, grabbing a light snack and a cocktail and enjoying the patio. Whether you’re staying at the hotel, just visiting Yountville, or a local like myself, Bardessono has a little something to offer everyone. Their pool located upstairs is stunning, they have their own garden where they source fresh produce, and they’re recently partnered with Bouchon for fresh pastries every morning!!
As for breakfast itself, DELICIOUS. I’m pretty picky when it comes to breakfast (I hate leaving breakfast feeling overloaded on sugar and sodium), but I always walk away from Lucy feeling completely satisfied. We both ordered coffees and green juices to start, enjoying our little view of the patio from our outdoor table. I had the egg white omelet while Joe ordered a custom omelet mm! They also offer a bananas foster, croque madam, and other insanely yummy looking things (you can find the menu here).

I’m constantly getting asked where to go in Yountville, and Lucy is always high on my list. There’s an awesome vibe and ambiance that’s hard to convey with photos and text, but something you need to experience for yourself! Head here for breakfast before exploring the valley, or finish your day on the patio with a great cocktail.
I’ll be putting together more ‘local Napa’ recommendations, so stay tuned! Be sure to shoot me a note if there’s anything you’d like me to cover…I’m open to suggestions!
